1. Individual Psychotherapy
I provide individual therapy for people looking to explore relational issues and growth as well as work through and heal past trauma. I use a combination of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Imago Relationship Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to treat trauma, build skills to support regulating the nervous system, expand mindfulness and emotion skills to both tolerate challenging emotions, calm and soothe distress and enhance a feeling of integration within our internal system.
Traditional talk therapy can be very beneficial in helping us build insight, work through life’s challenges and improve our relationship with ourselves and others. Sometimes we can reach barriers where knowledge and insight won’t integrate through our bodies, where it can feel like a battle with what we know in our heads and what we feel in our bodies. Both EMDR and IFS help to draw connections and integrate the information and insight so that a deeper knowing and internal sense of groundedness and peace is felt.
Additionally, I partner with The HeadStrong Project to help provide services to veterans and active service members for assistance with payment. To begin obtaining services through HeadStrong, begin here.
