The Getting The Love You Want Workshop, based on Imago Therapy and Harville Hendrix’s best selling book is a weekend workshop for couples to do intensive work within the context of a small group where we teach you a new way to love, a new way to move through challenges.
This workshop is a powerful opportunity to learn how to grow and heal within relationship, create a fulfilling partnership and engage in challenges in a healthier new way.
You and your partner will learn new ways of talking and listening that can transform arguments into opportunities for connection and growth.
You will create a shared written relationship vision for a clear roadmap moving forward, identifying themes around wounding and explore areas for healing and growth.

Throughout the weekend you will gain tools to create and sustain a positive and fulfilling relationship for both of you.

All inclusive and includes meals, lodging, 3 day workshop session, complimentary historic tours, campfires, bowling in our historic open air bowling alley, and access to Sagamore’s waterfront and watercraft.

Two slots are available for free for graduate students enrolled in MFT/MHC/MSW programs
Reduced payment slots are available for those where financial income is a barrier

GOALS

To normalize conflict within relationships, relational problems and struggles and explore how to engage and use them for personal and relational transformation.

To teach couples about the necessary tools for a conscious healthy relationship, to demonstrate how to use these tools and practice use so that they are accessible after the workshop.

To create the feeling of safety within the relationship and reduce reactivity and patterns of hurt and disconnection.

To learn about your partners and your own ways of feeling and receiving love and a plan for engaging in new ways of being loving and giving love to your partner for after the workshop

To create a joint vision of your relationship to guide you on your work within the weekend and a roadmap for your continued work after the workshop.

To dedicate time for an entire weekend to focus on caring for your relationship and yourself.

TERMS

The fee for the workshop is $850 per couple and includes manuals and tuition.

Early registration insures attendance as space is limited. Once registration is complete online I will contact you to discuss the workshop and finalize payment. Your spot will be held once payment is complete.

It is important to attend and engage fully in all parts of the workshop as the content is dense and important. Please arrange for full coverage of family and personal matters so as they don’t interrupt your participation in the workshop.

There will be breaks for lunch both Saturday and Sunday. Attendees often will dine out for lunch, if this is not your preference please plan accordingly. ​

CANCELATION POLICY: Please note, there are no refunds for cancellations. You may transfer once to a future workshop for a $100 charge. If you do not attend or do not complete the workshop your registration is nonrefundable and nontransferable. If the presenter cancels the workshop, a full refund will be made.
