You will learn...

A new way of talking

You will learn the Intentional Dialogue, a tool used in Imago Therapy to support both communicating in a way your partner can truly hear and listening in a way that feels connecting. You will learn both the basic and more advanced versions of the dialogue at this workshop.

To create a vision

You will learn about the importance of revisioning your relationship, the power of holding a shared vision and you will create the vision within the workshop.

Tools to enhance connection

You will learn a variety of practices that will help enhance feelings of warmth and connection, learning about your own love languages, identifying caring behaviors and plans for use as well as additional accessible practices for use within and outside of the workshop.

About your growth points

Both you and your partner will begin to identify areas of unmet needs, wounding and parts of the self that can expand. Using this information, You will begin to identify a roadmap through stuck conflict to growth .

Transform your relationship

This workshop is a powerful opportunity to learn how to grow and heal within relationship, create a fulfilling partnership and engage in challenges in a healthier new way.

You and your partner will learn new ways of talking and listening that can transform arguments into opportunities for connection and growth.

You will create a shared written relationship vision for a clear roadmap moving forward, identifying themes around wounding and explore areas for healing and growth.

Throughout the weekend you will gain tools to create and sustain a positive and fulfilling relationship for both of you.

All inclusive and includes meals, lodging, 3 day workshop session, workshop manuals, complimentary historic tours, campfires, and access to Sagamore’s waterfront and watercraft.

GOALS

To normalize conflict within relationships, relational problems and struggles and explore how to engage and use them for personal and relational transformation.
To teach couples about the necessary tools for a conscious healthy relationship, to demonstrate how to use these tools and practice use so that they are accessible after the workshop.
To create the feeling of safety within the relationship and reduce reactivity and patterns of hurt and disconnection.
To learn about your partners and your own ways of feeling and receiving love and a plan for engaging in new ways of being loving and giving love to your partner for after the workshop
To create a joint vision of your relationship to guide you on your work within the weekend and a roadmap for your continued work after the workshop.
To dedicate time away from distractions to focus on caring for your relationship and yourself.

Discover the Spirit of the Adarondaks

Come enjoy a weekend in the Adirondacks at one of the camps built by the Vanderbilts at Great Camp Sagamore in Raquette Lake, New York. This workshop is in a beautiful and peaceful setting that is perfect for a couples workshop. This workshop will include rooms, meals, a guided hike as well as access to swimming and the kayaks and canoes.
